Truckee

Our home away from home is located in Truckee, CA near Lake Tahoe.We escape from the Bay Area every opportunity that we can. We try to spend every moment that we can in Truckee.

We started looking for a home in early 1989. After a few months of finding nice homes in bad locations and bad homes in nice locations, we decided to get serious. We hired a general contractor to build a custom home on a lot that we found with the help of a buyers real estate agent. Construction began in August of 1989, we moved in the first week in February 1990.
