If you are coming from Kona and are driving over the north end of the island
(through Waimea) you will make a left hand turn on to Kam Ave. in Hilo at
the end of the highway. From there you will go over a bridge and through
two signal lights. The corner of the second signal light has a "Ken's House
of Pancakes". You make a right turn there and that will put on on Hwy 11
heading towards Volcano. Approximately 6 miles from where you turned right
you will come to a junction (the Keaau-Pahoa bypass road). There are two
left turn lanes and a sign that indicates it is hwy 130. Turn left there
and go another 6 miles out. Watch for the green and white mile markers.
When you see mile marker 6 you will make a right hand turn right after that.
The name of the road is "Aulii". Go up Aulii two blocks. Turn left on to
35th ave. It is a bumpy road. Go down a half a block. We will be on the
right hand side. There is a chain link fence, gate and sign. Just follow
the drive way down.
